If you like rowing or want to rent a motor boat please ask at reception.You will be able to see some of the most beautiful places around the lake, such as Villa Balbianello and the Comacina island or the Madonna del Moletto, near Bellagio and Villa Serbelloni.
If you prefer there are many pleasant walks, not difficult, for example to the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Soccorso, Villa Balbianello, the little church of San Martino in Griante, Villa Carlotta, Villa Melzi in Bellagio , Villa Cipressi and Villa Monastero in Varenna , or the Green Way to Colonno or to Menaggio which will allow you to visit the old parts of various villages.

VOLLA BALBIANELLO
To walk from the San Giorgio hotel to the Villa Balbianello, you must exit the Hotel Park continue straight on the Lungolago for about 1.5 km until you reach Piazza Santo Stefano. Turn right and follow the signs for the Villa del Balbianello.
The villa is located on a small peninsula overlooking the lake. You can admire its beautiful garden and its historical architecture.
VOLLA CARLOTTA
To reach Villa Carlotta from the Hotel San Giorgio, you can take the C10 bus from Lenno to Tremezzo and get off at the stop near the villa, the journey lasts about 14 minutes. Otherwise take the boat from Lenno to Tremezzo and go down to the pier near the villa. The journey lasts about 17 minutes. You can take a taxi or walk for about 3 km along the lake shore.
